Content-quality remediation — high-level pointers (local fallback)

oranguru tells you what is weak about a page’s copy. The detailed, current content-quality & readability standards — the target reading-grade band, the thin-content word-count floors per page type, sentence-length and passive-voice guidance, and the placeholder-text policy — live in the team wiki (set OUTLINE + OUTLINE_API_URL and the report links them directly). This file is the minimal high-level fallback for when the wiki isn’t configured: direction only, deliberately not step-by-step, so there’s no detailed content to drift out of sync with the wiki.

• Reading grade — aim for the ideal 6–12 band; simplify copy that reads as very difficult, lift copy that reads as thin/simplistic.
• Long sentences — break up dense runs of 30-plus-word sentences so the page is easier to follow.
• Passive voice — prefer active voice for more direct, confident copy (advisory only, never a defect).
• Thin content — a page below its per-type word floor has too little to rank or inform; expand it with real substance.
• H1 ↔ title duplication — vary the H1 from the <title> so the page covers more keyword ground.
• Placeholder text — remove any leftover lorem-ipsum, [TODO], “your company name here”, or dummy/sample text before publishing.
