Postgres MCP pattern — not bundled

The Lab assessment toolkit-labs/assessments/postgres-mcp.md scored crystaldba/postgres-mcp (3.2k★, MIT) and the official modelcontextprotocol/servers/src/postgres split as the canonical Postgres MCP. Verdict: ADOPT-PATTERN.

The MCP server is docker-shaped and below the toolkit’s DoD bar (#1–3) as a vendor. This skill ports the pattern — describe / sample / validate — as a single-file, read-only, BigQuery-native primitive. No Postgres driver is bundled; the assessment lives in the Lab repo.

To talk to Postgres directly, use the upstream MCP (npx -y @modelcontextprotocol/server-postgres or the crystaldba/postgres-mcp image) in an MCP-capable host; this skill stays BigQuery-only and company-neutral.
